# What Should I Do if a Client Account Is Deactivated or a New Account Is Requested?

## Review the process for checking Boostlingo and CLI when a client account is deactivated or a new account request is received.

If a client account appears deactivated or a user is requesting a new account, first verify whether the account exists in Boostlingo and then check CLI if needed.

### Step 1: Check Boostlingo

Is the account present?

- **Yes:** Send user instructions as needed.
- **No:** Proceed to CLI review.

### Step 2: Check CLI

If the account is found in CLI:

- Escalate to Taylor and Meg to determine migration or account actions.

If the account is not found in CLI or Boostlingo:

- Notify Taylor and Meg.

### Potential causes

- New client
- Translation-only client
- Account setup issue
